UHU POR is a fast-setting special adhesive for bonding rigid foams, e.g. Styropor®, also in connection with other materials
the elastic adhesive film is colourless, resistant to aging and water
UHU POR is a quick-setting contact adhesive for bonding polystyrene rigid foam (e.g. Styrofoam), also in combination with other materials. The elastic adhesive film is extremely resistant to aging, almost colorless and waterproof.
Materials:
UHU por is suitable for bonding polystyrene rigid foam (e.g. Styropor®) to one another or polystyrene rigid foam (e.g. Styropor®) to wood, wood-based materials, textiles, paper, cardboard, metal and many plastics.
UHU por is not suitable for bonding glass, ceramic, porcelain, stone and similar materials to one another or to one another.
Processing:
When processing UHU por, both adhesive surfaces are evenly coated with a film of the adhesive. It is important to ensure that the surfaces are clean, dry and free of grease and oil. Depending on the application thickness and the absorbency of the materials to be bonded, the open time varies. The finger test can be used to check whether the adhesive span has been reached. If the glue no longer pulls strings after a gentle tap, the parts can be joined together. Depending on the thickness of the application and the absorbency of the materials, the bonding time is 5 to 20 minutes. Light petrol is used to remove excess adhesive residue or to clean tools.
